Q:
Can you share what has been driving you to work passionately on your recent projects?
A:
Knowing that our work will inspire and motivate teams to dream big, take action, and make a difference in their communities is a powerful motivating force. It makes me excited to translate high-level strategic goals into meaningful experiences that resonate.
Q:
What are some of your personal and business goals this year?
A:
This year is all about “vision” for me. I’m looking ahead to where we want to be as a company and where I want to be professionally, then taking targeted action to bring that vision to life. That involves strategic planning, vision sharing, and creating space for collaboration and innovation across teams and with our clients.
A:
Outside of work, I’m working to bring another dream to life – an advanced scuba diving certification. Learning new things and exploring the world will always be on my list of personal goals!
Q:
Are there any projects or events you are most looking forward to this year?
A:
There are so many interesting projects on the horizon. I’m particularly drawn to the ones where we’re able to work closely with presenters on their session content, with a focus on storytelling and unique branded segments. I’m lucky to work with such an innovative team at Centrifuge, and I can’t wait to see those new ideas come to life.
Q:
What motivates and drives you in your day-to-day work?
A:
I love a challenge! I’m driven by the desire to distill complex information into a cohesive and compelling message, while also aligning it with a broader corporate narrative. Strategic communications are inherently challenging, which is why I’m always eager to dive in.
Q:
How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance, and do you have any tips for your peers?
A:
I love the work that I do and am energized by the amazing team that surrounds me. To maintain balance, be sure to take time outside of work to recharge with friends & family and to pursue fun, new adventures.
Q:
What advice would you give to new employees joining Centrifuge Media to thrive in their roles?
A:
Be curious and don’t hesitate to speak up! Every project gives you an opportunity to be creative, practice teamwork, embrace & initiate change, and commit to improving each day. These are our values at Centrifuge, and striving to embody them has enabled me to grow both personally and professionally during my time here.
Q:
What do you do in your role to empower our clients to inspire and motivate their audience to make a commitment to lasting behavior change?
A:
I advise executive presenters and communications teams on strategy, storytelling, and execution best practices, so they can deliver impactful messages to their audiences. My goal is always to help our clients connect on a deeper and more authentic level with their audiences because that’s where real, lasting change begins.
Nominations
What Centrifuge Media colleagues have to say about Lauren Dearmore’s accomplishments over quarter 01!
“Lauren truly shined throughout the entire LuNa process and during the meeting. Not only did she create a new strategy document to use with clients but developed and directed the strategy process with all the tracks. With her direct knowledge of the presenters and presentations, she guided the final sessions when Brandon had to leave the meeting early..”
“Lauren has exemplified our company values through her tireless work with a national sales meeting. She embraced her new role of leading our strategy team while remaining steadfast and committed to closing our large program with no gaps in execution. She leveraged each asset of our team and led us to execute a fantastic meeting all while making sure her new responsibilities were also being taken care of. Juggling two major roles is no small feat but Lauren did it with style and grace and deserves the recognition.”
“Lauren is constantly taking the lead and is a driving force in everything she is involved in (which is a lot!) She is cool under pressure both from timelines and dealing with clients. The work she does in strategizing and helping our clients deliver their message is invaluable.”
“Lauren had an exceptional 1st quarter. She not only ran her first successful strategic marketing from A-Z with Lundbeck’s national sales meeting, but she also worked a great deal on the last-minute scripts and jumped in to co-produce/call a major show for Brandon that she had never done before.”
