Q:

Can you share what has been driving you to work passionately on your recent projects?

A:

Not only my love for the game, but the team I have around me to play it with. There’s nothing better!

Q:

What are some of your personal and business goals this year?

A:

Well since running…ok JOGGING my very first 5K last month, my personal goals are to stay healthy as I strive to better myself with eating habits while on the road and maintain a healthier lifestyle overall. And business goals are to continually learn new and old technology and how to incorporate them together to advance our overall goal as a company.

Q:

Are there any projects or events you are most looking forward to this year?

A:

Always the next one…what can we do next?…what are we doing next?…what can we do differently?

Q:

What motivates and drives you in your day-to-day work?

A:

Honestly the team we have keeps my drive going. In the 19 years Centrifuge Media has been around, we have had some great talent come and go – but this team we have now, is the best we’ve ever had and it shows in our work, and our work ethic.

Q:

How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance, and do you have any tips for your peers?

A:

Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial for overall well-being, happiness, and productivity. It’s not about splitting your time 50/50 between work and leisure, but rather making sure you feel fulfilled and content in both areas of your life.

  • Make time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation, such as exercise, hobbies, or spending time with loved ones.
  • Take regular breaks throughout the day to recharge and reduce burnout.
  • Surround yourself with people who support and understand your work-life balance goals.

Q:

What advice would you give to new employees joining Centrifuge Media to thrive in their roles?

A:

Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Include yourself in what’s going on around you to absorb the knowledge of others on the team. We’re all one big family and no one is going to get annoyed with you wanting to learn more by hanging around or asking questions.

What Centrifuge Media colleagues have to say about Brandon Goldthwaite’s accomplishments over Q2!

“Brandon’s initiative, new Tech Thursdays, I feel has been incredibly beneficial. These innovative ideas are fantastic to use for upcoming RFP’s, pitches, and to boost our revenue contribution. It sparks my creativity and I appreciate the work he’s put into this! Plus, he’s been killing it on the road and just snagged the CMI t-shirt design win. Always upbeat and full of great ideas, collaborating with him is always a pleasure.”

“Brandon has gone above and beyond in recent months to help us improve and stay cutting edge as a whole. I think New Tech Thursdays is a great idea, initiated and created on his own, to help keep us thinking about new and cool offerings to share with our clients. He’s been very open to new ideas to include in that company initiative and takes time to chat with people offline if they have questions. I’ve also seen him on several occasions, working with the creative team members to help them better understand tech and how it impacts design. An example includes working extensively to implement the “BRISK” robot animation and video sequencing at the RDO launch. There were many tweaks that had to be made for a seamless execution onsite, and he never hesitated to help with the edits to get it right.”

“Brandon continues to not only be a team player, but also an asset to the company! His new initiative of Tech Thursday is just an example of how he constantly contributes to making our team more informed, yet at the same time stronger as a team!”

The selection process for the Employee of the Quarter is driven by nominations from fellow team members. Every quarter, employees are invited to nominate their peers who have gone above and beyond in their roles, demonstrated outstanding teamwork, or made a significant impact on the organization.
