If you are in Raleigh, we cannot recommend Beasley’s strongly enough. Great chicken and waffles, great mac and cheese, and great drinks. This is part of James Beard award-winning chef Ashley Christensen’s empire, so you know it is good. This is right in our backyard, but it is world class!
Ever wonder who would be
dumb fun enough to stick their feet in one of those pools full of flesh-eating fish in Singapore’s Chinatown? We have found an answer…
Turns out that person is Centrifuge Media Communication Strategist Jack McDonald!
Jack has reported no illness or side effects from this adventure, but we haven’t heard back from the fish yet. We will keep you posted.
It’s located in the heart of Old Town San Diego which is a short cab or light rail ride from Downtown. Two little ladies will make flour tortillas from scratch and bring them right to your table. Stand out Mexican food in an area known for great Mexican food – and don’t forget the margaritas!
Each month, one Centrifuge Media team member selects one of their coworkers as the Employee of the Month. The idea is to recognize someone they feel has gone above and beyond their required duties and exemplifies teamwork. The Employee of the Month gets the “Rock Star” parking space closest to the front door for the month. Help us say congratulations to our November EOM: Director of Client Services, Chris Dahnke! Here is what his coworker had to say: “His experience and leadership skills alone are a massive asset to Centrifuge, but what impresses me most about Chris is his willingness to learn and lend a hand in any scenario. It would be easy for him to point to his 24 years of work experience as a reason to brush off a coworker who barely has 24 years life experience, but to me Chris always seems to be willing to undertake tasks ranging from the not-so-glamorous (lugging around equipment, setup, shepherding on-camera “talent”) to the maybe-too-glamorous (acting as the on-camera model to test lighting and makeup). He also brings a new perspective to what we’re doing as a company, and both the company and the individuals working here have been able to grow through his input.”
Thanks for all you do at CMI, Chris!
